Yes, Bob Barker is still very much with us. But he’s actually a lot older than you might have guessed. His 99th birthday was on December 12, 2022.
It’s remarkable that Bob is still in such good health at the age of 99, given the many health problems he’s endured over the years. He has suffered from a blocked artery in his left carotid artery, a stroke, prostate surgery, skin cancer, and numerous stitches, head, and knee injuries from in-house slips and falls over the years.
He had a particularly difficult 2018, which included two hospitalizations for severe back pain near the year’s end. This resulted in a relatively low-key celebration of his 95th birthday at the time.

In 2018, his representative told USA Today, “He’s just resting, and he’ll probably have some family come by. He’s still recuperating from his back. He’s improving. He’s 95 today so it’s a bit of a slow process.”
Nancy Burnet, Bob’s partner of nearly 40 years, told Fox News Digital that he is in excellent health for his age just before Bob’s 99th birthday. She explained that he only takes one prescription drug to treat his thyroid condition. “He does not take anything for blood pressure, cholesterol, the umpteen other things that most people take as they grow older,” Nancy continued. “He’s in very good health for his age and his humor is still in good shape. He’s had a very charmed life.”

I had the pleasure of working with a dedicated and talented cast and crew for 35 great years.
