Elliot Grainge Married Sofia Richie In France
Sofa Richie has tied the knot! Vogue reports that on Saturday, the youngest daughter of Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander married music executive Elliot Grainge at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.
Over the course of the weekend, Sofia, now 24, posted a number of photographs from her wedding preparations, including a joint announcement with Vogue.
The agents for Sofia and Lionel Richie have been contacted by news outlets for comments. Vogue was able to capture the bride’s fitting for three Chanel haute couture gowns she wore throughout the wedding weekend.
“I honestly think Elliot is going to love it. He is my biggest cheerleader when it comes to anything I wear. If he doesn’t cry, I’ll be very sad,” the model and designer said.
“I always had this vision of the big princess dress and going big, but as I got older, I realized that I wanted something a bit more simple,” Sofia said. “Maybe ‘simple’ isn’t the right word because my dress definitely is not simple!”
“I’m so excited to be married just because I’m marrying Elliot,” the bride said tearfully, “I know that sounds so cheesy, but he’s the man of my dreams.”
Pictures obtained by Page Six show that Grainge was accompanied down the aisle by his parents, Universal Music Group chairman and CEO Sir Lucian Grainge and his wife, Lady Caroline Grainge.
