A Teaser From Vjump Almost Confirms That Gohan vs Cell Will Fight Again in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero!

Gohan vs Cell

A recent magazine ad for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie and Super Dragon Ball Heroes video game seemed to reveal a surprise villain for the movie.

Even though it hasn’t been confirmed, this new ad and previous hints from some franchise actors seem to point to the return of Perfect Cell.

If Perfect Cell from Dragon Ball Z does make a cameo in the new movie, it would be a big deal for fans and for the franchise as a whole. The cell has Saiyan DNA, which gives him the Zenkai power that has helped Goku and Vegeta get so much stronger over the course of Dragon Ball.

Follow along as this article goes over all the signs that Cell will come back, as well as rumors about who the bad guy might be if the android doesn’t show up.

Today, a VJump ad for the collaboration between Super Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero seems to confirm that Cell will be back. Even though it hasn’t been confirmed yet, the ad is for an official collaboration and likely does mean Cell is coming back.

In the ad, fans can see that Goku is right in the middle. Fans can see that Goku is standing over a character from the game, whose leg is clearly that of Perfect Cell, by looking at where his right foot is. Dragon Ball Z is where Perfect Cell was first seen and where he was last seen for sure.

Perfect Cell is the only enemy you can see on screen in the whole ad, which is interesting and has a lot to do with Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

With the final trailer coming out in a few days, this ad and the fact that it was leaked build up excitement for the trailer and the movie. We hope that the trailer in some way confirms or teases Cell’s return.

Previous articles talked about a tweet from Toshio Furukawa, the Japanese voice actor for Piccolo, that showed the new Perfect Cell figure. As was already said, it was interesting that the box had Dragon Ball Super branding on it even though Cell wasn’t in the show yet.

The cell looks like he will be back in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, so the name “Dragon Ball Super” must have meant something. This pattern of leaks about a major character before the final trailer for the Broly movie, which showed Gogeta, would support Cell’s return even more.

The cell seems to be coming back in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which seems to disappoint fans of the franchise. Even though some people are happy about the change, a lot of people are voicing their displeasure, either through memes or written statements.

Many people say that Cell’s return would feel like a repeat of what happened when Frieza came back in the Resurrection F movie. Others seem to think that a Golden Cell power-up may be on the way since Goku has Frieza’s cells because of a problem with the timeline. As expected, most people don’t like the idea of something like this happening.

People who don’t like the idea of Cell coming back will be happy to hear that many people think the surprise villain will be someone else. Android 21, which is best known for the video game Dragon Ball FighterZ, seems to be the best choice there.

There’s also a chance that for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, a brand-new bad guy will be made. Since Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are already confirmed, it’s not impossible that there will be another original character.

Even though Cell’s return seems likely in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, there is still hope that a new character or Android 21 will show up. Both would make sense given the movie’s setting and plot, but the same could also be said for Cell’s appearance.

Based on rumors from earlier in the year and this new VJump advertisement, Cell’s return is almost certain to happen. Sadly, this news doesn’t seem to be making many fans more excited for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Instead, it seems to be making them less interested in the movie.
