Since their divorce was finalized in 2018, they have both found new love and are still working together to film their show about flipping houses.

Even though they are no longer together, they keep a united front on their HGTV show. You can watch old episodes of Flip or Flop every day, but the hit show will come back for a ninth season in August 2020.

2009: Christina and Tarek Marry.

The two people met in the real estate business not long after college. At first, Tarek was seeing someone else, so they kept things casual for more than a year before taking things further.

“Tarek and I moved in together the day we started dating for real, which was October 9, 2006,” Christina told GoodHousekeeping.com in the past. After three years and a real estate market crash, they got married and had their first child, daughter Taylor, who is now seven years old.

April 2013: ‘Flip or Flop’ Premieres — and Tarek Receives a Cancer Diagnosis.

At the time, Christina was seven months pregnant and used a friend’s camera to take pictures of Tarek and his friends as they walked through an open house. In the end, the footage helped them get their show on HGTV.

A nurse who was watching reruns of Flip or Flop and saw that Tarek had a lump on his thyroid called the producers to tell them. After that, a biopsy showed that the tumor was cancerous. Soon after, Tarek found out that he had testicular cancer.

August 2015: Their Son Brayden is Born Amidst More Health Struggles.

Tarek was getting treatment for cancer while he and Christina tried to have a second child through in vitro fertilization. After losing a baby in 2014, Christina got pregnant again and was told to stay in bed. Tarek’s problems weren’t over, either. He hurt his back playing golf, so he started taking “a lot of pain pills” and getting hormone injections.

“I took Vicodin every day, and I lost 60 pounds.” “he said on The Dr. Drew Podcast. “Plus, my hormones are out of whack, I’m on painkillers and narcotics, and I’m working and filming. It was very hard for three or four years… It was a horrible thing to go through.”

On August 20, 2015, the El Moussas finally got to meet their son, Brayden. Four weeks later, Christina went back to work, which added to the stress of having a new baby. She told People, “It was too soon for me.” “I couldn’t handle it. There was a lot of stress between me and Tarek.”

May 2016: The “incident” Happens.

The stress came to a head when Tarek ran away from their home in Orange County, California while holding a gun. “We had a bad misunderstanding about six months ago, and out of an abundance of caution, the police were called to our house,” Christina and Tarek said in a statement that came out in December. “No one got hurt, and no charges were brought.”

In an interview with TODAY, Tarek said that everyone was making too much of the now-famous gun incident. He said, “There are mountain lions, bobcats, rattlesnakes, and other big animals back there.” “I went hiking to check out the trails. Even so, it wasn’t a big deal. I didn’t understand. It got a lot bigger than it should have been.”

January 2017: Tarek Files For Divorce.

The couple went to counseling, but a few months later Tarek filed for divorce, saying that they couldn’t work out their differences. “Like any other couple, we had problems,” Christina told People. “But in a short amount of time, we went through a lot.”

“We couldn’t talk to each other right anymore,” she said. “It got so bad that we didn’t even drive to set together anymore.”

Tarek says that a lot of stressful things, like his health problems, led to the end of the relationship. He said on The Dr. Drew Podcast, “We bought a house and were remodeling it. My hormones were out of whack, I didn’t feel great a lot of the time, and I wasn’t the best person I could have been.” “There’s so much going on at once with TV, fame, money, and so many other things, and it slowly drove us apart.” please read also Adam Vinatieri Net Worth

After thinking about it for a while, Tarek told Entertainment Tonight that his divorce was “very, very hard” and that at the time, he “hit rock bottom.” “You know that time makes things better. I didn’t realize what I was missing until I found it “he said.

November 2017: Christina Starts Dating Ant Anstead.

After briefly getting back together with her ex-boyfriend Doug Spedding, Christina started dating Ant Anstead, an English TV host who has worked on shows like For the Love of Cars on Channel 4, Building Cars Live on BBC Two, and Wheeler Dealers on Velocity.

Christina told GMA, “There are a lot of lies and rumors, but in the end, we’re just normal, nice people who just want to be the best parents and coworkers we can be.” “Tarek and I are friends, and our families help us a lot.”

Now, the whole El Moussa family, including the kids, is “doing great.” He said, “They’re getting used to the new situation.” “What matters most is that Christina is a great mom. I like to think I’m a good father. So we’re a lot of help. As much time as possible is being spent with them.”

May 2018: The First Season Since the Split Premieres.

Fans at first thought that the end of the El Moussas meant the end of Flip or Flop, but that hasn’t happened yet. Before Season 8, Christina told GMA, “We have so much fun on set, and we’re looking forward to keeping the show going.” “We worked together before we started dating because we met at work.” One big difference, though: “Tarek and I don’t talk about each other’s personal lives,” she says. “That’s the way it is.”

Tarek has also been pretty casual about the unusual arrangement. He said on The Dr. Drew Podcast, “One day you stop living together and move out, but the next day you still have to put on your pants and shoes and go to work.” “It was a very hard time, but as time went on, it got easier and easier to deal with. And at the end of the day, we have to work and take care of our families.” please check this CT Divorce

Whether or not there will be the ninth season, these two are still flipping their way through Orange County for now.

December 2018: Christina Marries Ant.

Christina and Ant got married in the Newport Beach home after a quick courtship. Everyone was surprised, even their closest family and friends: People say that 70 people came to their house expecting to go to the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, but the couple had other plans.
Even though the ceremony was less formal, the parents made sure to give their children a big part. We wanted the kids to be the focus. She told People, “There are six of us.” “We have a blended family, so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”
According to Entertainment Tonight, Tarek shared his thoughts about her wedding on his Instagram story: “I’m happy for her, though. It’s a great thing, in my opinion. I think they are friends. And most of all, it’s good for my kids “he said.

September 2019: Christina and Ant Welcome Their First Child Together.

The date of his birth is September 6, 2019. The couple’s four kids were the first ones to meet the baby, of course.

Soon after, Tarek told Taylor, “Congratulations! She got to meet her new brother Hudson yesterday, and she was so happy!” I, too, can’t wait to meet the baby. “I might babysit for Christina and Ant if they pay me well,” he wrote on Instagram.

January 2020: Tarek Reveals he Moved in With Girlfriend, Heather Rae Young.

After dating for almost a year, Tarek told Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young that he wants to take things to the next level. The couple spends about half of their time in Orange County and the other half in West Hollywood, both in California. Still, Tarek’s kids are the most important thing.

Tarek has told the truth about how hard it was to introduce his kids to his new girlfriend, but luckily, they got along right away. “I told them that, like her father, she works in TV and real estate. Please read also Tia Divorce

After starting a conversation, I would also show the kids pictures and videos of Heather Rae and me laughing, being silly, and just hanging out. This would make them laugh and help them remember her face “He said so to TODAY’s Parents. “I tried to make it fun, which made it easy to meet them in person later.”
