On October 11, 1945, Virgil Riley Runnels Jr., better known as “The American Dream” and Dusty Rhodes, was born into this world. The National Wrestling Alliance, Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Federation (later renamed WWE) were all places he worked as a professional wrestler, booker, or trainer in the United States. Rhodes is considered as a legend in the sport of professional wrestling.

Who Is Dusty Rhodes’ Wife?
Runnels and Sandra were married for ten years, from 1965 to 1975, as claimed by SportsLumo. In 1978, he wed Michelle Rubio, and the couple remained together for the next 37 years until his de@th in 2015. His four offspring were named Dustin, Kristin, Teil, and Cody.
His six grandchildren included Dustin’s daughter Dakota (with ex-wife Terri Boatright), Kristin’s sons Dalton and Dylan (with husband Don Ditto), Teil’s sons Kellan and Maris (with husband Kevin Gergel), and Cody and Brandi’s daughter Liberty.

During his time with Jim Crockett Promotions, later renamed WCW, Rhodes won the NWA World Heavyweight Title three times, as well as the U.S. Heavyweight Title, and the titles of World Television Champion, World Tag Team Champion, and World Six-Man Tag Team Champion.
