The upcoming action-adventure game Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, which was developed by Team Reptile and is highly influenced by Jet Set Radio, will be available for purchase on September 1 for Xbox and PlayStation, which is two weeks after the game was made available for purchase on personal computers and the Nintendo Switch on August 18, 2023.

Team Reptile previously revealed that Bomb Rush Cyberfunk would be released on Steam and the Nintendo Switch in 2020. Players will move about the virtual globe of the game while spraying graffiti and using boostpacks to scale new heights.

What’s more intriguing is that Hideki Naganuma, the composer for Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future, was confirmed by the developer to create the game’s music when the game was first announced more than three years ago.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was initially scheduled to arrive in 2022, however Team Reptile announced in August that it would postpone the launch until summer 2023. The developer also promised that Bomb Rush Cyberfunk would be released on other consoles soon after its first release on PC and Switch. The game’s new release date for PC and Steam was announced by the developer in April as being August 18.
