Insider Claims That Motive’s Unannounced Iron Man Game Will Hit Shelves Before Black Panther!

Black Panther vs Iron-man

Despite the fact that the much-rumored Iron Man did not show up at D23 after all, industry insider Jeff Grubb has confirmed that the game is still in development.

After the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, writer Grubb tweeted that Motive is “doing Iron Man after Dead Space” and that “previous Shadow of Mordor developers will build Black Panther.”

Grubb remarked, “This is the other game I was talking about when we went over the Black Panther stuff,” before providing a link to an article that implied that EA’s Iron Man game may have been at the presentation. Hearing about it shouldn’t take too much longer, but playing it will. However, it will be released before Black Panther.

When asked if the Black Panther video game unveiled today was the same one he reported on recently, he gave a surprising answer: “No. Different” (opens in new tab).

When might the video games be available for purchase? Given the risks associated with making a firm commitment to a release date, Grubb estimated (opens in new tab) that the development team was probably looking at “three years at the earliest” as a possible window for the release.

What about a new version of Dead Space? The official release date for that is January 27, 2023. (opens in new tab).

The Dead Space remake’s release schedule was moved back from March to early 2023, first as an internal delay and then as a formal announcement. Although the story appears to be playing out fairly faithfully to the original 2008 sci-fi horror classic, we have already seen examples of the ground-up visual overhaul and boosted game’s sound design and art direction thanks to EA’s proprietary Frostbite engine, which was also used to make Star Wars: Squadrons and the Battlefront 2 campaign.

To make dismembering Necromorphs as realistic as possible, the Dead Space remake will also include a gruesome new “peeling” technology(opens in a new tab), and it looks great.

Horror isn’t limited to October 31st; here are the best horror games you can play any time of year (opens in new tab).
