How quickly time passes! The Disney Channel original series Austin & Ally debuted in 2011 and ran through 2016. Fans know that Ross Lynch, Laura Marano, Calum Worthy, Raini Rodriguez, and others starred in the show, which debuted on December 2, 2011.
Ally (Laura) was a nervous composer with severe stage fright, but she and Austin (Ross) were a great match because Austin was a confident vocalist. Their enchanted romance began when Austin stole one of Ally’s songs without her knowing.
Austin implored Ally to have them collaborate on music instead of revealing that she was the song’s composer. Eventually, she gave in, and the show followed them as they adjusted to Austin’s stardom together. After four unforgettable seasons, it was cancelled on January 10, 2016.
The group is closer than ever despite their many separate and highly successful acting and musical careers. When asked about the cast and crew of Austin & Ally, Laura told Elite Daily in March 2019 that “the really cool part is we are just so insanely supportive of each other,” even though they were no longer working on the television series.
In May of 2020, over a year after the show ended, the complete cast of Austin & Ally got together virtually for a reunion. In the same month, Laura discussed reuniting the cast for a movie on E! News’ In the Room. You can see the official tweet below with regard to the reunion of Austin and Ally’s cast.
