Born Ronia Tamar Goldberg on October 2, 1950 in Chmielnik, Poland, Angelyne is of Jewish descent. Angelyne adopted the name Renee Tami Goldberg after her parents, both Holocaust survivors, relocated to Los Angeles’ Fairfax District. Her alma mater was James Monroe in North Hills, California.
