On Wednesday, the identity of the worker who passed away not long ago at an Amazon factory in the area was revealed to be a man from Fort Wayne who was 20 years old.
Caes David Gruesbeck is alleged to have passed away immediately after being taken to the hospital from the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Smith Road, according to the Allen County coroner. Dr. Jon Brandenberger, the county’s coroner, determined that Gruesbeck’s de@th was an acc*dent and that a blunt-force injury was the primary contributor to his passing.

According to WTHR, a worker who was hurt at an Amazon warehouse in Fort Wayne and later passed away as a result of their injuries after an incident on Monday that caused the facility to be shuttered for the remainder of the day.
Cpl. Adam Griffith, a spokesman for the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, said that emergency medical teams were dispatched to an Amazon Fulfillment Center at approximately noon on Monday. The employee, identified as Caes David Gruesbeck, from Fort Wayne, was transported to a hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced de@d.

Dr. Jon Brandenberger, the coroner for Allen County, stated on Wednesday that the de@th of Gruesbeck was determined to be acc*dental.
In a statement released Monday, Amazon spokesman Andre Woodson said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with our employees’ families and our team at the facility.”
According to the sheriff’s department, an investigation into the de@th is currently underway. No further information regarding Gruesbeck’s passing or the activities he was engaged in at the time of his passing has been made public.

The company reported that after the warehouse was closed for the day, the employees were paid and sent home for the remainder of the shift. Amazon spokesperson Maureen Lynch Vogel stated on Wednesday that the location is still shuttered and that employees are being paid as usual. She did not disclose when it would be available again.
