Adele is a British singer and songwriter who is very popular and famous. However, since their divorce, Adele’s admirers have questioned why she and Simon Konecki split. The “Hello” singer has a reputation for keeping her former relationships, including her divorce from the father of her kid, very private. But after all these years, Adele has finally revealed the real reason behind their split.
Before requesting a divorce in 2019, Adele was married for two years to charity executive Simon Konecki. The couple began d@ting in 2011, and in 2012, Angelo was born. The “Easy on Me” singer addressed how their breakup affected her more than two years after it happened, revealing that her divorce from Konecki “f—king devastated” her.
At the moment, she didn’t truly know who she was. She had this belief. She wasn’t sure if her dislike of herself was related to the Saturn return or simply that she was well on her way to entering her 30s.
The Grammy Award winner followed to assert that the difficulties of their breakup were only made harder when the public came to know about her divorce. She was really depressed as a result. Having a lot of unknown individuals learn that she failed to make that work…She was f—king crushed. She felt ashamed. She didn’t feel embarrassed by anyone, but she felt unsatisfactory in her performance.
Adele has already spoken out about how their divorce has affected her, but she has also discussed the specifics of what led to their breakup. For information on why Adele and Simon Konecki split, continue reading.

But it was obvious that they fell fast and hard for one another. After d@ting for a year, the couple had their son, Angelo, in October 2012. The singer remarked that having children gave her a purpose and gave her a sense of “truly living.”
Adele and Simon made sure to keep their family life secret when Angelo was still a child in order to keep him out of the spotlight. Instead, Adele’s critically praised album 25, which was released in November 2015, only had songs about her experiences with love and parenthood.
The couple got married after some point in 2018 and announced the news. Adele’s representatives publicized the news in April 2019, and the singer filed for divorce formally in September of the same year.
