As the League of Legends playoffs are coming up or are already happening, Riot Games is looking ahead to the next big event, the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational, and making a lot of changes to champions in League Patch 13.7.
This includes a slew of improvements for widely-used heroes like Katarina, Kalista, Graves, Alistar, and even Yasuo, who are all favorites in both ranks and professional play.
A number of powerful champions, including Zeri, the current ADC queen, Veigar, and Annie, are on the receiving end of 13.7’s change list, which was initially released by lead developer Phroxzon on March 27.
Milio’s arrival in the last patch means that there won’t be any big champion debuts in April’s first patch. However, League players won’t be left out in the cold: a set of skins based on cats and dogs is expected to hit the shopfront in the middle of the cycle. Here is all the information you need about League Patch 13.7.

What Updates Are Coming In League Patch 13.7?
Lots Of Buffs And Nerfs As MSI Approaches
With the first Premier League event of the year quickly approaching, now is the time to put in maximum effort to shape the Season 13 metagame. Top developer Phroxzon stated on March 27 that we’re two patches away from MSI and that the League development team is pleased with the direction meta is taking. Still, there are a few adjustments they’d want to make.
Katarina, the playmaking mage, is getting a revamp, Azir is getting a buff, and a few other tier-two and tier-three champions are getting subtle buffs. Many bot lane heavy hitters like AD carry monster Zeri and hook-happy Thresh are in danger, as are the jungle’s S-tier selections Olaf, Sejuani, Vi, Lee Sin, and Kha’Zix. The success rates of Rammus and Veigar will also be adjusted.
Cat And Dog Skins Are Falling Like Rain In League
With the 13.7 patch, four champions—Kindred, Kled, Yuumi, and Nidalee—are given new animal-themed costumes. The first three are all about dogs, while the Bestial Huntress gets a cat-themed one. There will also be between six and eight chromas for each of the four characters.
All the new skins in this update are as follows:
- Woof and Lamb Kindred (1,350 RP)
- Kibble-Head Kled (1,350 RP)
- Kittalee Nidalee (1,350 RP)
- Shiba Yuumi (1,350 RP)
During the League Patch 13.7 cycle, these cat and dog skins will become available. You can see all the update details for April 5th here. All of these potential buffs, nerfs, and adjustments are still in the testing phase until Riot issues the official notes, so keep that in mind.
